I had to come back to check your archives. If your photography is the result of being sad - be sad. Its no sin to be sad. As long as you can still have a drink, get laid and make enough money to buy a drink and get laid - life aint so bad. Keep up the good work. Check my site and photos if you're not too busy. Randy

Few people can see the way that you do. Its a blessing and a curse. Keep taking those photos - it will be to all of our benefit. Randy www.poptophorror.com

Hello.
You are still busy now?
Take it easy.
Anyway, I'm glad that you look fine.
Re: yamasaki ko-ji.
thanks for your visiting.

yamasaki ko-ji. / Jul 22,2008

thanks for your message everyone !!
» Franco san.- a negative of the high temperature developing --> 70%
but contrast is emphasized too much when i stir it.
i make much of a tone than the contrast.
- printing(multi-grade paper #3 or #4) --> 30%
-
Franco / Jul 22,2008

Your photos are wonderful. I like high contrast in BW.
Is the original negative like that, or you get that contrast during the printing ?
-
Val / Jul 15,2008

-
bob / Jul 13,2008

there is something very mysterious to these shots
you show yourself so often, but somehow you are so elusive
you say you are sad, but so many people are laughing in the shots
but thats a good thing, too much melancholy imagery would be too much
thanks for sharing!

michael / Jul 12,2008

Thanks for your reply Ko-Ji Yamasaki (i hope i say it right)
Could I ask why you use Lomo and Richoh, is the camera important? Maybe you like compact cam so they fit in pocket? Why Lomo for color and not Ricoh, sorry for so many questions...
Your photo's are inspiration, maybe the thing you will be most remembered for in life... you should take more even if you are busy!!
Re: yamasakiko-ji.
yes, they fit in pocket.
first of all, lightweight and compact is important for me.
if i feel something, i take a photo before losing freshness.
the lens of GR1v is very sharp. its necessary to print for a beautiful monochrome tone and grain.
the color photo is too realistic.
LOMO lens is fuzzy. LC-A is just good to hide it.
thanks John.
-
yamasaki / Jul 04,2008

» ALL
thanks a lot !
i'm glad for your comments !!
» John san.
i use RICOH GR1-V (b&w) and LOMO LC-A (color x-processed).
